Ellisbridge resident duped

Ahmedabad: A 59-year-old man Keyur Bhatt, a resident of Ellisbridge, registered a case for cheating and breach of trust along with other sections of the IPC against eight persons — Saurin Panchal, Deepak Rathod, Akshat Shah, Foram Mehta, Chirag Pandit, Champak Rathod, Vipul Shah and Radhe Patel.
The complainant claimed that in 2019, he read an advertisement which claimed that a residential project was launched in Navrangpura area and after negotiations it was decided that a three-bedroom flat would cost him Rs 90 lakh apart from GST and other charges.He stated that he was allotted flat 301 on the third floor and the total payment of Rs 92.8 lakh was done through cheques and RTGs.
Later, Vipul Shah and Radhe Patel asked them to stop the work and claimed that as Panchal had not paid them the land price, the flat would be sold to another person. tnn
