AHMEDABAD: A doctor from the Satellite area of the city on Sunday filed a complaint with Sabarmati police alleging that someone stole his cellphone worth Rs 70,000 when he was leaving the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium after watching an IPL match.

Manish Shah, 46, who runs a hospital on Prernatirth Derasar Road, said that he was trying to book a cab on a cellphone app after the match on the night of April 9.

As he began walking towards the exit, he suddenly realized that someone had stolen his cellphone.

Sabarmati police registered a complaint of theft against an unknown person and began an investigation.
