Criminal stabbed to death by brother-in-law in Ahmedabad

AHMEDABAD: A man was stabbed to death by his brother-in-law on Saturday morning at

Parsottomnagar area

of the city.

The deceased, identified as

Pradeep Don alias Maya

, had a criminal background. According to

Sola police officials

, about 15 criminal cases were registered against Pradeep.

'During the intervening night of Friday and Saturday, Pradeep's brother-in-law, along with four to five persons came to house to resolve an old internal dispute. However, after verbal altercation with Pradeep they went away and came back in the morning at about 6am. They pulled out Pradeep from his house at Parsottomnagar -2 and stabbed him to death with swords and other sharp-edged weapons. We reached the spot as soon as we got the information. We have nabbed two suspects and a search is on to arrest the remaining," said a senior police official of Sola police station.
