Cops form teams, raid farmhouses

AHMEDABAD: The

Ramol police

raided several farm houses on the

outskirts of the city

in connection with the

murder of builder Moti Desai

. City police has formed several teams to nab the killers.

While Ramol police officials claimed to be hot on trail of the accused, sources close to the deceased alleged that the accused are

well-connected to a top politician

and there are chances that the accused will be soon made to surrender before the cops.

Builder Moti Desai, a resident of

Kameshwar Park in Vastral

was hacked to death allegedly by a four persons - Ramesh alias Sunny, Dharamshi Desai, Pratik Desai and Vijay Desai with swords and machete on Wednesday night. The incident took place when Desai and his brother Jagdish were returning from a marriage ceremony.
