Contest on gender inclusivity organized by Mica

AHMEDABAD: MICA, in association with Gender Resource Centre (GRC) at the women and child department of the government of Gujarat (WCD), has announced a case writing competition on gender inclusivity. The ‘MICA-WCD case writing competition on gender inclusivity 2014’ will be an opportunity to showcase the successful efforts of an organization (a government department, public/private enterprise, academic institution, NGO or hospital) towards promoting gender inclusivity and a harassment-free work environment for women.
The competition will provide them a forum to share ways for prevention, prohibition and redressal of complaints of gender discrimination or sexual harassment. It will be open to postgraduate or doctoral students, academics and professionals or an individual woman employee of any organization, who has combated sexual harassment in any form.
The best two cases from each of the three categories will be awarded cash prizes while the top 15 entries will be published as a book.
