The interest in art ignited by the

Times Art Festival 2020

is blazing brighter by the day. As art lovers from across the city visit the festival organized at Amdavad ni Gufa, more and more collectors are expressing the desire to buy artworks. An auction has been scheduled next month.

Among the prominent visitors on Friday were J P Gupta, the chief commissioner of the state commercial tax department; RPO Sonia Yadav along with Virendra Singh Yadav, SP CID (crime); Kartikeya Sarabhai, the founderdirector of CEE; and Arjun Handa, the vicechairman and managing director of Claris.

The fourth day of the festival also featured a live demonstration of watercolour paintings by Bhavesh Zala and Ashish Kataria.

is a fantastic initiative,” said Neha Sheth, a fashion entrepreneur.

“The collection of artworks has been very well curated across mediums and vividly speaks of the sights, sounds, and shades of the heritage city of Ahmedabad.”

Art is a powerful medium to tell stories of heritage of this vibrant city, said Priyanshi Patel, founder, Karma Foundation. “I loved the selection of paintings, installations, and sculptures,” Patel said.
