CEPT students win at ASHRAE design competition

Yaduvanshi, from

CEPT University

has secured 3rd position at the ASHRAE Design Competition in the ‘Integrated Sustainable Building Design’ (ISBD) category. The ASHRAE Student Design Competition recognizes outstanding student design projects encourage students to become involved in the profession, promotes teamwork and allows students to apply their knowledge of practical design. ISBD is intended for students of mixed disciplines with enough training to work collaboratively on the building, mechanical and electrical design. The participating teams were expected to design an energy-efficient, sustainable project approaching a Zero Net Energy building with minimized energy demands for HVAC and all other technical systems that could be satisfied with locally available and/or building installed Renewable Energy Sources.
