AHMEDABAD: The Blind People's Association (BPA) have got the help from foreign shores in terms of technology and cooperation. Greg Selinger, premier of Manitoba, Canada, visited the BPA premises on Wednesday and interacted with students and officials at the campus. The premier also handed over 100 mobility canes to the students of the BPA. Officials termed the visit a step towards strengthening mutual cooperation between BPA and Manitoba in field of technology.

Bhushan Punani, executive director, BPA, said that later this month, a Japanese delegation will visit BPA and train the students in scientific Japanese massage. "We have good demand of physiotherapists from the institute. The delegation will teach the students Japanese massage, targeted at several body points, that will not only enhance the skills of our students, but will also help them find vocation," he said.
