Builder kidnapped over business dispute, rescued

AHMEDABAD: A city-based builder, Hardik Thakkar of Vasna, has alleged in a police complaint that he was kidnapped by his former partner Divyajeet Pardhavi, the latter’s brother Satyajeet and Paresh Patel of Ghatlodia, for recovery of money.
Police sources said Thakkar said that he was kidnapped in Ghatlodia and taken to a factory in Sola where he was confined to a small room and thrashed.
“While leaving the house, Thakkar had told his wife that he was going to meet the Pardhavi brothers to settle the dispute. His wife informed police control room when Thakkar did not answer her calls. We swung into action and rescued Thakkar. We have arrested all the accused,” said a police official.
