BJP city chief's daughter threatened, gets security

AHMEDABAD: City BJP president Rakesh Shah's daughter was provided police security after she was allegedly threatened by a group of youths on Thursday. According to city police officials, Shah's daughter is studying MSc (IT) at KS School of Business Management.
She told police that while she was taking an exam on Thursday, a group of students threatened her, commenting about her father's political activities.She informed her father about the incident and Shah rushed to college to inquire.
"He approached senior city police officials and narrated the incident. We believe that it may be a prank. But, we cannot take the issue lightly and have asked our staff to keep an eye on the suspects on campus. A team of police officials has been deployed near the college," said a senior city police official. tnn
