Bharuch election results 2024 live updates: AAP's Chaitarbhai Damjibhai Vasava vs BJP's Mansukhbhai Dhanjibhai Vasava
Bharuch Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 26 Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituencies in Gujarat state. It is a general category parliament seat. The constituency went on for the election in the third phase on 7th of May. There are over 17.23353 lakh voters in the constituency. The voter turnout this year was 1191877 which is 69.16 %.
Mansukhbhai Vasava, representing the BJP, is currently leading in the race, while Chaitar Vasava of the INC is trailing behind.

Bharuch constituency braces itself for a high-stakes showdown between the BJP led by Mansukhbhai Vasava and the Aam Aadmi Party led by Chaitar Vasava.
In the 2019 general election, Mansukhbhai Vasava of BJP emerged victorious with 637,795 votes. Sherkhan Abdulsakur Pathan was the runner-up with 3,03,581 votes. In 2014 general election Manusukhbhai Vasava emerged victorious by 548,902 votes while his counterpart Jayeshbhai Patel received 3,95,629 votes.BJP maintained its stronghold in both previous elections. In the 2019 parliamentary elections, the constituency witnessed active participation, with a total of 15,64,519 electors exercising their democratic franchise.

Bharuch Lok Sabha constituency comprises of 7 legislative assembly segments which are Karjan, Dediapada, Jambusar, Vagra, Jhagadiya, Bharuch and Ankleshwar. Out of these seven state assembly seats, six are represented by the BJP while one, Dediapada, is represented by the Aam Aadmi Party.
The constituency area comprises part of Bharuch district. The literacy rate of the Bharuch constituency is 70.39%. The constituency has approximately 61,004 SC voters, which is 3.9%, and approximately 605,347 ST voters, which is 38.7%.
