AHMEDABAD: Prime minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, cementing a milestone in the bilateral ties between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and India. The BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, with its history spanning over two centuries, traces its origins to Gujarat. Established by Bhagwan Swaminarayan in the late 18th century and formalized by Shastriji Maharaj in 1907.
