According to the latest forecast from the India meteorological department (IMD), Gujarat is set for a noticeable warming trend starting this weekend. Residents can expect the mercury to climb by two-three degrees. On Thursday, Ahmedabad recorded a maximum of 31.5°C, hovering just above the seasonal norm. However, the night offered little respite from the encroaching heat, with the minimum temperature settling at 18.5°C — a significant 3.3 degrees higher than usual. tnn
