Ahmedabad: Man stabs younger brother over dispute of attending call of nature

AHMEDABAD: In a scuffle regarding attending a

call of nature

near the staircase of the house located in Danilimda, a man Kalpesh Kadikar stabbed his younger brother

, 47, on Wednesday afternoon. Inspector MM Laliwala of

Danilimda police station

said that they have held the accused and have sent him for pre-arrest Covid-19 test.


According to FIR lodged by Pulkit who works as an RTO agent and stays alone on the first floor of the house located at

Shakti Society

in Danilimda Village, his elder brother Kalpesh stays with his family on the ground floor of the same house.

"According to the FIR, both the brothers have had disputes about the property from quite some time. On Tuesday evening when the complainant was returning home from work, he saw that his elder brother was attending a call of nature near the staircase of the house. Hence, he told him not to urinate at this place. To this the accused got angry and abused him", said a police source.

The FIR mentions that on Wednesday when the complainant returned home at noon, his elder brother Kalpesh again abused him and rushed into his house and brought a knife. The elder brother then stabbed his younger brother in the side of the abdomen.

"As the younger brother cried for help, bystanders rushed in and shifted him to civil hospital for treatment. From where he lodged a complaint his elder brother", inspector Laliwala said.
