Ahmedabad: Estranged wife lodges molestation complaint against former husband

AHMEDABAD: A divorced wife lodged a complaint of molestation against her former husband at

on Tuesday. The wife has alleged in the FIR that

of Gomtipur came to her house in Fatehwadi of Sarkhej, slapped her and then molested her.

said they have registered an FIR of molestation and assault against Zaheer.

According to the FIR, complainant had a love marriage with Zaheer Abbas in 2012. However the both could not get along well and got separated.

The FIR mentions that the complainant and Zaheer have three kids- two sons and one daughter. They stay with their mother and works in a restaurant on

SG Road

.

On October 28th Zaheer came to the complainant's house and slapped her. He then molested her and touched her inappropriately.

Police officials said that the complainant woman raised an Alarm, Zaheer ran away from there. “We have registered a case under sections of molestation and assault against the accused have will arrest him soon” said a senior police official of vejalpur police sation.
