65 units get AMC notices for littering, using banned plastic; 3 sealed

Ahmedabad: On Friday, teams from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation's solid waste management department inspected 80 units in the North-West Zone and issued notices to 65 for littering and using banned plastic. A stock of 7kg of prohibited plastic was seized and Rs 41,000 collected as penalty. Three units — Accessories Hub and Mocha Cafe in Bodakdev ward and Decor Garden Hotel in Chandlodia — were sealed for littering. Dwarkadhish Tea Stall on Rajpath-Rangoli Road in Bodakdev was sealed for using banned plastic.
