AHMEDABAD: Id will never be the same for 55-year-old Yusuf Shaikh. In fact, he feels life will never be the same again, having lost wife Zubeida in an accident in Madina on Friday.
On the day the world celebrated Id, Shaikh and his family preferred to remain confined to their residence in Kazi No Dhabo, Astodia, grieving for Zubeida.
She, along with her daughter, son and grandson, had gone to Mecca-Madina for Umra (known as chhoti Haj) during the holy month of Ramzan.

Four other persons, all from south Gujarat, were killed in the same accident at Madina while 10 were injured. According to the kin of the victims and some survivors, the bus driver taking them to the airport fell asleep while driving, causing the speeding vehicle with 50 passengers on board to overturn.
Zubeida's son-in-law, Arif Diwan, told TOI: "My wife Firoza also sustained some injuries. However, my son and brother-in-law are safe."
The others who died in the bus accident at Madina are Yunus Hafizi (55) a veterinary doctor from Surat and his mother Amina Hafizi (71) from Bardoli, Mohammad Hanif Multani (45) and wife Sharifa Bibi (45) from Navsari.
Yunus Hafizi's wife Mariam (47) is said to be in a critical condition, having sustained multiple injuries in the accident. His son Shaukat (22) and nephew Aulas (21) are also in hospital.
The owner of the travel agency, Adenwala Tours and Travels, Yasin Adenwala, who organised this trip, had accompanied the pilgrims along with his son and both were also injured in the accident.
