32.54% from A’bad CMA clear finals

Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad chapter of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has said that of the 209 candidates who took the final exam, 32.54% have cleared it. The national pass rate for final CMA candidates was 33.56%.For the 519 intermediate students who appeared, the pass percentage was 24.85%. Officials from ICMAI's Ahmedabad chapter said this result was higher than the national pass rate of 21.62%. A release for CMA's Ahmedabad chapter stated that 35 candidates from the centre became CMAs, while 81 students passed the intermediate level. The top performer from the Ahmedabad chapter was Mayank Jain, followed by Jignesh Prajapati and Karan Soni. In the intermediate examination, Hussain Shaikh led the list and was ranked seventh in the country. Rajkumar Gautam was second in the Ahmedabad chapter and ranked 48th in the country. Parth Nanavati was ranked third in the Ahmedabad chapter. tnn
