26 IAS officers shifted, Sanjeev Kumar made PS in CMO
Gandhinagar: The state govt on Tuesday transferred 26 IAS officers, appointing Sanjeev Kumar (1998 batch), principal secretary (PS), environment and forests, as PS in the chief minister's office (CMO). Kumar will also hold the additional charge of PS, home. Both these posts were held by Manoj Kumar Das, who took over as the state's new chief secretary (CS) on Oct 31.Vikrant Pandey (2005 batch), secretary in the CMO, has been redesignated as additional principal secretary in the CMO. The transfer order said that Pandey will hold additional charge of secretary, information and broadcasting, relieving Avantika Singh Aulakh (2003 batch) of the additional charge of that post.
Anju Sharma (1991 batch), ACS, agriculture, farmers welfare and cooperation, has been transferred and appointed as ACS in the general administration department (GAD), relieving Dhananjay Dwivedi (1998 batch) of the additional charge. Dwivedi, PS, health and family welfare, has been appointed as PS, panchayats, rural housing and rural development. Mohammad Shahid (1998 batch), PS, social justice and empowerment, has been made PS, tribal development, relieving Shahmeena Husain of the additional charge.Upon his repatriation to the parent cadre, Ajay Kumar (2006 batch) has been appointed as the secretary in the CMO. He will continue to hold the additional post of GMB CEO.Among other transfers, R C Meena (1997 batch), PS, ports and transport, has been appointed as PS, agriculture, farmers welfare and cooperation. Hareet Shukla, CEO, Gujarat, will continue to hold the additional charge of PS, ports and transport. A M Solanki (1990 batch), MD, Gujarat State Warehousing Corporation (GSWC), has been appointed as the ACS, agriculture, farmers welfare and cooperation, but will continue to hold the additional charge of GSWC MD.Mukesh Kumar (1996 batch), PS, education department (primary and secondary education), has been transferred and appointed as PS, education (higher and technical). Milind Torawane (2000 batch), PS, panchayats, rural housing and rural development, has appointed as the PS, education department (primary and secondary).Ashwani Kumar (1997 batch), principal secretary, sports, youth and cultural activities, appointed as the PS, energy and petrochemicals, replacing S J Haider, who will superannuate from service on Dec 31. Avantika Singh Aulakh, additional PS in the CMO, has been transferred and appointed as the MD of GSPC, relieving Milind Torawane.Sandeep Kumar (2002 batch), secretary, agriculture, has been appointed secretary, finance department (economic affairs), relieving Arti Kanwar of that post. Jenu Devan (2006 batch), superintendent of stamps and inspector general of registration, has been made the secretary, finance (expenditure), relieving Arti Kanwar of the additional charge. Devan will continue to hold additional charge of GUVNL MD.The transfer order said revenue inspection commissioner Rajesh Manjhu (2004 batch) will hold the additional charge of superintendent of stamps and inspector general of registrationFinance secretary Arti Kanwar (2001 batch), has been appointed as the chief commissioner of state tax, while Vinod Rao, PS, labour, skill development and employment, has been appointed as the PS, environment and forests department.Among other transfers, Rajeev Topno (1996 batch), chief commissioner of state tax, has been appointed as the PS, health and family welfare, and on repatriation to the parent cadre, Sandhya Bhullar (2003 batch) has been appointed as the commissioner of health (urban). Rajender Kumar (2004 batch), secretary, industries and mines, has been appointed as the commissioner of transport, and Kuldeep Arya (2009 batch), CEO of Dholera and Mandal SIR, has been transferred and appointed as secretary, tourism, Devasthanam management and civil aviation. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the CEO of Dholera and Mandal SIR.Upon his repatriation to the state cadre, Lochan Sehra (2002 batch) has been appointed the secretary of labour, skill development and employment department. Rajkumar Beniwal (2004 batch), GMB CEO, has been made GNFC MD, relieving T Natarajan of the additional charge of the post.Harshad Patel (2005 batch), commissioner of health (urban), has been made the secretary of social justice and empowerment department. Rahul Gupta (2004 batch), secretary, climate change, has been shifted and made secretary, sports, youth and cultural activities. He will continue to hold the additional charge of secretary, climate change department.
