12 held for roughing up CMO of Civil Hospital

AHMEDABAD: Shahibaug police arrested 12 persons in a case wherein chief medical officer (CMO) of Civil Hospital was roughed up by relatives of a man accused of participating in a group clash. They had alleged that the youth was not being treated properly. Angry over the affront, doctors had refused to attend other patients too. “We have arrested Kamlesh Parmar, Arvind Pandya, Pankaj Parmar, Vishal Shrimali, Nikhil Solanki, Jayesh Parmar, Pankaj Shah, Bhavesh Shah, Dhiren Pandya, Mayur Makwana, Dharmendra Ramrao and Rajesh Shah in the case,” said a police official. He said that the youth was injured in a group clash on Sunday and brought to Civil Hospital.
