Agra residents
, including an Allahabad High Court lawyer and his wife, were killed in a road accident
on Agra-Lucknow expressway
.
The accident took place around 3.55 pm near milestone number 75 of Katfora area under Sirsaganj police jurisdiction of Firozabad district.
The victims were identified as advocate Yogesh Agrawal (55), resident of Balkeshwar, New Agra police jurisdiction, his wife Sushila Agrawal (52) and the driver of the car Rajpath Tripathi. The
three
were returning from Allahabad in their SUV.
Sunil Tomar, SHO, Sirsaganj said, “The speeding car rammed into the truck’s rear which was parked along the side lane of expressway.”
“The bodies of the victim were sent for autopsy. Their relatives have been informed about the accident,” he added.
