Thousands participate in Urs-e-Razvi in Bareilly

Bareilly: The three-day Urs-e-Razvi even to commemorate the death anniversary of Aala Hazrat, who propagated Sunni Barelvi School of Islam, concluded on Saturday, witnessing a massive influx of devotees in Bareilly.The event began with Quran recitations at Raza Mosque, followed by a gathering at Islamia College ground led by Dargah chief Hazrat Maulana Subhan Raza Khan and presided over by Mufti Ahsan Raza Qadri. Pilgrims from countries like England, Australia, South Africa, and more attended, with the event featuring religious recitations and speeches.Special prayers were offered for global peace and calls for the release of Mufti Salman Azhari, an Islamic preacher arrested in connection with a hate speech case registered in Gujarat, were made at the event. His supporters, carrying posters and banners, demanded his release.
