Man writes Sanskrit exam for wife, while she sits beside him with their 3-month old infant
AGRA: A 22-year-old BA-I student of Sanskrit brought her three month old child and husband to the examination center in Etah district. When flying squad visited the center, they found her husband writing her paper.
The incident was reported in Radha Mahavidyalaya of Vasundhara village of Awagarh area.
As per official source, when flying squad team comprising professor Bindu Shekhar Sharma and professor P K Singh of Dr B R Ambedkar University Agra, visited the college for surprise inspection, the college authorities were hesitant to allow them to inspect the center for examination, as only one female student was appearing for the Sanskrit paper.

“While walking through the corridor of college, professor Singh came across a young couple along with an infant at the examination center. The man was caught red hand while as he was writing BA first year Sanskrit- II paper for his wife. Though the man denied charges and claimed that he was there to take care of child,” said source.
“Later, when woman was asked to write two sentences in the answer so as to match the handwriting to support her husband claim, she initially refused but wrote. Her handwriting was different from the answer sheet writing. The paper was seized and she was asked to leave the examination center along with her husband,” he added.
Speaking to TOI, professor Bindu Shekhar Sharma said, “I’m not entitled to comment on the matter, though we have sent the report about the incident to chief coordinator of examination.”
When TOI contacted, Narendar Yadav, director of Radha Mahavidyalaya, he claimed, “The husband of the student was hired as invigilator for the examination. He himself is a teacher. No cheating was done in the paper.”
A total eight colleges (Mohar Singh Mahavidyalaya, Z S college, Virangna Awanti Bai Mahavidyalaya, Dayanand Mahavidyalaya, R C S Mahavidyalya, Gajraj Singh Mahavidyalya and Ram Singh Bitthal Devi Mahavidyalya) were inspected by the flying squad team where students were found allegedly cheating in examination.
