: The Dauki police seized a liquor consignment worth Rs 30 lakh hidden under a truck from Zero point of Agra-Lucknow Expressway on Sunday.
The police seized 700 boxes of foreign liquor, 11 sheets of labels to pack it to be sold in another state. The Indian Made Foreign Liquor was to be sold in Chandauli,
Bihar and other areas.
Smugglers were identified as Arvind Yadav (25) of Chandauli, Zaahid alias Began (22) of Agra. The driver, identified as Arif (45) of Agra, managed to flee the spot. Acting on a tip-off, a search operation was conducted by the police near
Yamuna Bridge on Agra-Lucknow Expressway. The accused was caught 50 meters from the barrier police has created to nab them.
