: Doctors at emergency ward of
SN Medical College
allegedly thrashed an attendant on Thursday night. According to sources, the attendant from
Tajganj
locality was complaining about the delay in treatment of his patient to the doctors. When his complaints were ignored, he started making a video.
A source from the emergency ward said that the patient from Tajganj locality was taken to SN Medical College’s emergency ward. The patient had a bullet injury and was accompanied by attendants.
One of the attendants asked the doctors present on duty to begin the treatment soon and when no one took his complaint seriously, he began making a video of the entire incident which angered the doctors. They beat up the attendant and confiscated his mobile phone. The mobile was only returned after the video recording of the incident was deleted.
When contacted, principal Dr
Saroj Singh
denied about the incident and said that no such incident was reported at the emergency ward as per her knowledge.
On Wednesday a clash was reported from the emergency ward of the college, where doctors had allegedly beaten a patient’s kin after accusing them of making a video of a conversation they were having.
