Aligarh’s social and saffron outfits demand President’s Rule in West Bengal

have urged President Ram Nath Kovind to dismiss the

West Bengal

government and impose President’s Rule there in view of the total break down in law and order in the state, as was evident from the brutal murder of three members of a family, associated with the RSS.

In a memorandum given to President Kovind through the ADM (City) RK Malpani, activists stated that West Bengal may turn into Kashmir if no immediate action is taken against the Mamata Banerjee-led government in the state, which is “anti-Hindus”. This will vitiate the peaceful atmosphere of the nation.

The activists alleged that Hindu families in West Bengal are being purposely targeted under the protection of Banerjee.

Aligarh’s Bajrang Dal pracharak, Gaurav Sharma, who also came to handover the memorandum, said that they cannot tolerate violence and anti-Hindu government in West Bengal.

“We just want that the central government should take charge of the state and maintain peaceful atmosphere,” said Sharma.

It may be recalled that on October 8, the police had confirmed that three members of a family of primary school teacher, Bondhu Gopal Pal, 35, his pregnant wife Beauty and eight-year-old child were found in a pool of blood inside their residence in Jiaganj area of West Bengal’s Murshidabad district.
