Agra University to organize computer, English classes

Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University will be organizing special classes for students enrolled in the residential wing institutes to learn computer applications and improve English. The free of cost classes will be organized at varsity’s Kanhaiyalal Munshi Institute of Hindi Studies and Linguistics (KMI) in Paliwal park campus.

AGRA: Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University will be organizing special classes for students enrolled in the residential wing institutes to learn computer applications and improve English. The free of cost classes will be organized at varsity’s Kanhaiyalal Munshi Institute of Hindi Studies and Linguistics (KMI) in Paliwal park campus.
As per the plan, the special classes will be organized for two hours every Saturday.

Besides basic computer skills, students will be taught programming languages. KMI has well maintained computer lab. Expert teachers will help students improve their English speaking and writing.
The classes will be conducted in batches of 20 students. Duration of the course will be six months. At the end of the course, students will have to qualify a test to get a certificate issued by the university.
Director of KMI Pradeep Sridhar said, “Following vice-chancellor Arvind Kumar Dixit’s orders, we will be starting special computer and English language classes for around 2,600 students enrolled in varsity’s residential wing institutes. These classes will be offered free of cost from August 10 onwards. Head of the departments have been asked to forward names of students interested in the classes.”
