15 officials honoured at Police Pride Felicitation Ceremony in Agra

Agra: A total of 15 police personnel from across ranks were honoured for courage, professionalism and dedication at the Police Pride Felicitation Ceremony 2025, organised by The Times of India, in Agra on Monday.Police commissioner Deepak Kumar, the chief guest at the event, presented awards to 15 officers for exemplary work spanning complex investigations, cybercrime, traffic management and fire safety. Additional police commissioner Ram Badan Singh and DCP (City) Sayyed Ali Abbas were also present on the occasion. Awards were given across several categories, highlighting operational excellence and service commitment. DCP (City) Aditya was honoured in the ‘Most Difficult/Challenging Case' category, while ACP Sukanya Sharma received the award under ‘Mission Shakti'.Inspector Bhanu Pratap Singh was recognised for ‘Most Cases Solved in the Year', and Inspector Reeta Yadav was awarded ‘Most Efficient Police Station of the Year' as SHO of the cybercrime police station. Sub-inspector Manoj Kumar received the award for ‘Best Investigation'. Sub-inspector Dinesh Chandra Daya was recognised as ‘Oldest Serving Policeman', while sub-inspector Ajay Sangwan was named ‘Most Effective Policeman'. Sub-inspector Saurabh Gautam received the award for ‘Immediate Action'. In specialised policing categories, sub-inspector Vimal was honoured for ‘Excellence in Cybercrime', and sub-inspector Dharmender Singh for solving the ‘Oldest Case'. Sub-inspector Jyoti Singh was named ‘Best Woman Cop of the City' for her consistent performance and public outreach. Head constable Nikendra Malik was felicitated in the Sports category, while constable Ajay Kumar was recognised for ‘Exemplary Duty in Unusual Circumstances'. Constable Vikas Kumar was awarded ‘Best Traffic Cop', and leading fireman Surendra Singh was honoured for ‘Fire Safety'. CP Kumar thanked TOI, flagged cybercrime as a growing challenge and urged police personnel to maintain discipline and courteous behaviour with the public. Referring to a recent custodial torture incident at Kirawali police station, he said such conduct was unacceptable.
