Agra: A month after the vice chancellor of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Arvind Kumar Dixit, came up with various provisions to clear the backlog of results, marksheets and applications for correction of errors, the plans are yet to be implemented, even as around 250 new applications for correction of marksheets come in every day.
Since 2012-13, applications of over 1 lakh students have been pending.
A majority of these students have filed multiple applications to get their grievances redressed, but to no avail. The VC had planned to pay employees who have been working overtime to clear the backlog. He had also planned to give laptops to employees so they could work even when not in office, however, none of these have been implemented.
Lokesh Kumar, a student of B.Com, said, “I am still waiting for my B.Com first year and second year marksheets. It have applied for MBA but the admission won’t be possible without the marksheets.”
