Tripura state budget on February 25

AGARTALA: The six-day budget session of the

Tripura

assembly is scheduled to begin on Friday.

Deputy chief minister Jishnu Dev Varma, who also holds the finance portfolio, will table the budget for 2019-20 on Monday.
The session will end on March 1, speaker Rebati Mohan Das said.

The Business Advisory Committee in a meeting has finalized the agenda for the upcoming budget session of the assembly. Sessions of the sitting assembly are scheduled to be held every day, except Saturday and Sunday, till March 1. The state government will introduce a bill on higher education during the session.
