Tripura guv treks to remote village

Agartala: Tripura governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu on Monday visited the remote West Gobinda Bari village in Dhalai district as part of his ongoing outreach programme. The village lacks basic amenities like road, rail, power, water and connectivity, reports Biswendu Bhattacharjee. He took a car trip for a part of the journey, followed by a trek through the steep hill terrain accompanied by senior officials.

Students protest over lack of basic amenities at Pachaiyappas college

Chennai's Pachaiyappa's College students protested for basic amenities including lavatories, proper food, and clean water. Led by the Students Federation of India, they criticized the administration for failing to appoint management committee members and restricting toilet access after 10am. The three-hour protest disrupted classes and highlighted ongoing issues at the institution.

Students from Manipur interact with Tripura governor on national integration

As part of a National Integration Tour organized by Assam Rifles, 35 students from remote schools in Manipur met with Tripura Governor N Indrasena Reddy. The tour aims to instill patriotism and national pride while visiting culturally significant sites in Agartala, Shillong, Guwahati, and Tezpur over nine days.
