AGARTALA: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Tuesday, during a brief visit to Agartala, said the country is not secure under PM Narendra Modi as he sold out national properties and economy of India has reached a critical stage in 10 years.
In a seven-minute speech during the roadshow in the Surya Chowmuhani area of the city, Priyanka sought votes for the INDIA bloc candidates from both the Tripura constituencies to ensure defeat of the BJP-led NDA govt in the interest of the country and said the country is not safe in the hands of the present dispensation.
“None of the poll promises Modi made to the citizens of the country was fulfilled, except for their political agenda. Unemployment increased by a record proportion, price of the essential commodities reached beyond bearable limit, democracy became dysfunctional and the Constitution became inoperative in India under Modi’s rule. People want to come out from the rude clutches,” Priyanka said.
She alleged that unity and integrity of the nation has been brought under question by Narendra Modi’s activities.
