11 Bangla nat’ls arrested in Agartala

Agartala: Eleven Bangladesh citizens and three Indian touts were apprehended by GRP and RPF during a joint operation at the Agartala railway station on Saturday night.“The Bangladesh nationals entered the state illegally with the intention of travelling to Gujarat and Tamil Nadu in search of work. Their movement was being facilitated by the three Indian touts. All of them have been arrested,” Tapas Das, OC (GRP), Agartala railway station, said. Mobile phones as well as Indian and Bangladeshi currency were seized from their possession, he added.
