While BJP accused opposition CPM of opening fire on its party worker, the latter denied the allegation and claimed that the incident was a result of the saffron party’s infighting.
Police said the incident took place at Aralia market when BJP worker Sanjay Saha was returning home around 10.30 pm after taking part in celebrations following BJP’s assembly poll victory. The miscreant immediately fled from the spot after opening fire. Police arrested Saha from his house.
