BJP nominates Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb for RS bypoll on September 22

Agartala: The BJP parliamentary committee on Friday nominated former Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb as its candidate for the Rajya Sabha bypoll slated on September 22.

AGARTALA:Earlier, former Assam CM Sabananda Sonowal was sent to the Rajya Sabha and thereafter he became a minister in Modi’s cabinet. Both Deb and Manik Saha were summoned to Delhi early this week. T
