4 youths held for ‘raping’ Tripura minor

Agartala: Four youths, including a minor, have been arrested for allegedly raping a minor girl for months in Khowai district, police said here on Saturday.The three youths among the four arrested have been identified as Jyotish Tripura (18), Talendra Tripura (20) and Tarun Kumar Tripura (19). According to police, the accused lured her into physical relations and then blackmailed her for the last nine months.The matter came to light when some unusual changes in the body of the girl were noticed by her guardians. Subsequently, her family members filed a case against the four. “They were produced before a local court,” a police officer said.
