23 girls in Tripura fall ill, CM orders twin terminations
Agartala: At least 23 tribal students of Bodhjung Girls Higher Secondary School here were admitted to Agartala Govt Medical College (AGMC) for abdominal pain and nausea shortly after attending classes on Thursday. Chief minister Manik Saha has ordered the termination of service of the warden and the caretaker of the hostel are staying and issued a show-cause notice to the Maharaja Bir Bikram Welfare Society, which manages the hotel.

He has also ordered an inquiry into the incident and directed that the report be submitted to him, reports Biswendu Bhattacharjee.
Of the 23 girls, 13 of them were discharged after primary medication.
