11 from B’desh caught in Tripura

Agartala: Eleven Bangladeshi nationals, including five children, were arrested at Agartala railway station for entering the country without any valid travel document, police said on Monday. Tipped-off about the arrival of a group of Bangladeshi citizens, a police team arrested them on Sunday, they said."On suspicion, 11 persons were detained at the platform and taken to Agartala GRP police station for interrogation. During interrogation, they revealed that they all came from Bangladesh without any valid documents. Accordingly, they were arrested for violating the Indian Passport Act,” OC, Agartala, GRP police station, Tapas Das said. He said of the 11 Bangladeshi nationals, five are children and six females.As many as 22 Bangladeshi nationals have been arrested at Agartala railway station in the last three days. PTI
