Weekends are all about fun, adventure, shopping and partying. So, get out of your comfort zone and opt for some wild and whacky stuff this weekend...
1. Get adventurous! Think out of the box and travel to unexplored locales: Don't go for usual stuff, try out new adventures. Visit new, unknown and fun destinations. Model Ramneek Pantal says, "I enjoy going to Ranikhet and Ranthambore with my family.

I go for rock climbing, parasailing and animal safari. An adventurous trip really tops my fun list as it helps me get away from the usual hum drum of life and enables me to unwind and feel recharged."
2. Sporty Action: Be obsessive about your sporty breaks. All of us crave for some challenging, new vistas. Go for bungee jumping, river-rafting, skiing, scuba diving and wind surfing on weekends. Hollywood hotties Sandra Bullock and Katie Holmes are self professed scuba divers. Business woman, Kamayani Kanwar says, "A person should try and explore their wild side on weekends, do something mind blowing. Skiing really excites me. It's a fun way to enjoy and chill out."
3. Spa-sessions: Nothing could be as relaxing as visiting a spa over the weekend. Who doesn't want to get pampered- so indulge yourself with fancy French manicures, aroma pedicures, invigourating body wraps, soothing hot oil massages and facials? Model Sonalika Sahay adds, "The most wanted weekend getaway is definitely a spa. A good massage can ease off your pressure and calm your frayed nerves down."
4. Shopping spree: Women are born to shop and so are men. VJ Rannvijay states, "Men love shopping. They also eagerly wait for sales and love to go shopping over the weekends." Shopping lends instant pleasure. Psychologists say that shopping is a great stress-buster. Socialite Tanisha Mohan feels, "For me, the best way to chill-out on a weekend is to go for shopping. I'm a complete shopaholic and believe in retail therapy." The mantra is shop till you drop!

5. Concert craze: Music is also a great way to get into the weekend mood, especially visiting a live gig or getting yourself a ticket to the most happening concert - be it Parikrama, Shaan or the local club music, the bottom line is to groove to the beats and feel alive. Singer Manasi Scott says, "Music and singing gives me a great high. Nothing could be more electrifying and thrilling than a live concert on a weekend."
6. Friendly get-together: Catch up with your close friends! If it's been long since you've met your old bum chums. than better late than never. Call your friends, book a Presidential suite in the fanciest hotel and have a action-packed, fun-filled bash. Order the finest of food and wine, play some foot-tapping music and have jolly good time. Model Sahil Shroff believes in meeting friends on weekends, "On a weekend, I just head away from the city. My friend has a Balinese villa in Alibaug and I like to relax and enjoy a barbecue meal there. There's nothing better than good company over the weekend. Saturday is for partying and on Sundays I go for swim and just chill out."
7. Pajama party: Hey girls, bring home your girlie gang this weekend to have an intimate gossip and girl talk session. Actor Riya Sen adds, "I just call all my friends on weekends for a pajama party. We cook, eat, gossip and watch movies. That's the best way for me to unwind."
8. Party hard: What's a weekend without a rocking party? TV Actor Barkha Bisht says, "A party by the beach is the best way to enjoy your weekend. Great music, crackling bonfire, yummy food and wine can make your weekend party a super hit. Swimming at midnight is also a romantic way to bond with your beau."
