Shonal Rawat is legs and more. She's on a trot.
She is the third girl (earlier it was Rimi Sen and Sreelekha Mitra) from Kolkata to star in an advertisement with Aamir Khan but if you ask Shonal Rawat about the experience here is what she has to say: "If it had been Shah Rukh Khan then I would have probably fainted because I am such a huge fan of his.
But Aamir was another perfect professional from whom I got to imbibe a lot." This leggy beauty sure has her head firmly glued on her pretty shoulders.
"I think I managed to bag the assignment because Aamir and I were both seated. Had we stood then I would have definitely looked taller than him," guffaws Shonal.
This ex-Miss India Asia Pacific who clinched the first runners-up title at the Miss Asia Pacific 2003 might have just worked with the 'thinking' Aamir Khan but she is doing projects for which she has to put on the thinking cap.
She is co-hosting the quiz contest with veteran quiz master Derek O'Brien. "When I got the offer I was not too sure if I will be able to carry it off but once on board I had the experience of a lifetime.
I was amazed at the talent these young kids have. I thanked god I was not the judge because they were all brilliant," she says.
Apart from the quiz contest, it's programmes like Ajke Shriman Shrimati and Yes Boss that Shonal is doing. When it comes to films, commercial films are given the heave-ho but she's not averse to parallel cinema.
"Imagine how I'd look if I ran around trees on my long legs?" Watch this space.
