NEW DELHI: Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Royal Brunei Airlines (RBA) on Monday announced code share cooperation between Negara Brunei Darussalam and Singapore. Under this agreement, both carriers can sell seats on each other''s services between Bandar Seri Begawan and Singapore.
The first code share flight will be launched on September 15, 2003.
From September 1 onwards, customers of both carriers will be able to book on a total of 19 weekly flights between the two countries, offering more flexibility and convenience in planning travel.
On Wednesdays and Saturdays, RBA services will transit in Singapore en-route to Kolkata.
For these services, RBA will use a mix of B757, B767 and A319 aircraft while SIA will deploy the A320 and the B772 aircraft. The A320 operated by SIA is leased from subsidiary SilkAir, and will be operated by SilkAir pilots and cabin crew.
