Lamy seeks second term

Pascal Lamy is seeking a second term as World Trade Organization director-general, saying "much remains to be done������ to conclude global trade talks and to improve the multilateral trading system.
"On my appointment as director-general, I undertook to reinforce multilateralism, to work to ensure that trade-opening continues to contribute to development and that the interests of developing countries are placed at the heart of the world trading system," Pascal Lamy said in a letter written to WTO General Council head Bruce Gosper on Tuesday.
