Hyundai Mobis to invest $30 mn in US

SEOUL: South Korea''s largest auto parts supplier Hyundai Mobis Co. said on Monday it would invest 30 million dollars to set up a factory in the United States.
The parts factory will be built in Montgomery County in Alabama, starting early next year, Hyundai Mobis said in a statement.
The Hyundai Mobis plant will begin operation in 2005. Hyundai Mobis is a key affiliate of Hyundai Motor Co, South Korea''s biggest carmaker, which also plans to build a factory in Alabama by 2005.
