Zomato, Swiggy hike user fees

MUMBAI: Ordering food is going to pinch your pocket this festive season as Eternal owned Zomato and its rival Swiggy have hiked the platform fee they charge per order by 20%-25%. Consumers will now have to pay Rs 12 as platform fee on Zomato for every order they place and Rs 15 on Swiggy. Earlier, the charges stood at Rs 10 and Rs 12 on Zomato and Swiggy respectively.
