Walmart Opens 25th Wholesale Store in India

on Wednesday opened its 25th cash & carry store in India in

Indore

Madhya Pradesh

. The new store has been integrated with Walmart’s B2B e-commerce platform.


The store will cater to the business needs of small businesses such as kiranas/resellers, offices & institutions (O&I) and hotels, restaurants and caterers (HORECA) of the region. It will enable Walmart India to offer unique value propositions of a wide range of merchandise and local assortment.

This is Walmart’s second store in Indore and fourth in Madhya Pradesh. The first store opened in MP in 2011. Spread over 50,000 sq ft, the new Indore store is located near IPS Academy in Rau.
