today said it has appointed

Samir Dhir

as its president.
Dhir will take charge of running all industry verticals for the organisation,

Virtusa

said in a statement.
"He has been a part of our growth journey for the last several years and has contributed in building scale and helping us reach where we are today," Virtusa Chairman and CEO

Kris Canekeratne

said.
In his new role, he will handle P&L responsibility for all industry groups, including sales, delivery and operations, he added.
In his earlier role,

Dhir

spearheaded delivery leadership for Virtusa from India.

An active angel investor, Coverfox was one of Singh's early investments.
Premanshu's appointment is part a of planned leadership transition, as he succeeds

, who has moved on to set-up a new online general insurance company, Coverfox.com said in a statement.
Singh will spearhead and lead the strategic growth at Coverfox across critical business areas, including strategic business planning and development, partner management and customer engagement.
