And, if you think it isonly entertainment coated, you would be way off the mark.Newschannels are increasing — Sun TV with two news channels (one in Tamil andother in Kannada), Udaya TV with Kannada and Telugu, India Vision news channelin Kerala, Headlines Today, which though not in a regional language, wasprimarily started off to make a dent in the southern news market and the latestentrant, ETV, is also starting an exclusive news channel. A Ficci KPMG reportsaid India is emerging as the third largest cable TV viewing nation.
