Temasek holding invests in HealthCare Global Enterprises

HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited, (HCG), the specialist in cancer care, has announced that Temasek Holdings, a Singapore based investment company, has become a shareholder in the company.

PUNE: HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited, (HCG), the specialist in cancer care, has announced that Temasek Holdings, a Singapore based investment company, has become a shareholder in the company.
Temasek joins existing investors, Premji Invest, an investment entity owned by Azim Premji, and Milestone Religare in a primary equity issuance by the company, a statement by HCG said.
Evolvence India Life Sciences Fund, which has been an investor in HCG since 2007, will be exiting their investment to Temasek in the company.
"Temasek's global perspective and long term interest in healthcare makes them a valuable partner. We have included Jennifer Lee to our board", said B S Ajaikumar, chairman and chief executive officer of HCG.
HCG, headquartered in Bangalore, has over 26 centers and is reportedly Asia's largest cancer care network. The company has worked for the future of cancer care in India by designing, building and managing cancer care centers.
