Tamilnad Mercantile Bank gets new executive director

CHENNAI: RBI has approved the appointment of former SBI chief general manager (CGM) Vincent Menachery Devassy as the executive director of the Tamilnad Mercantile Bank (TMB).

He would be holding the position for a period of three years from the date of assuming office, the bank informed the stock exchange on Thursday.

With a career spanning for four decades, Vincent held various assignments in the nationalised bank including CGM in the northeast circle. He has also served as deputy general manager, SBI Wealth and vice-president (personnel and administration), SBI New York.
