NEW DELHI: The agreement reached between Max India chairman Analjit Singh and Parvinder Singh's family was recorded in the Delhi High Court on Tuesday. With the settlement, all 33 cases and litigations, some going as far as 15 years back, have been withdrawn. The disputes between the two sides were resolved amicably as per the family settlement which was reached way back in 1990.
As reported by TOI on Monday, Malvinder and Shivender will retain their portion of the property at 1 South End Lane, and also get control of the Bhai Hospital Trust which owns a major chunk of Ranbaxy shares. The market price of the shares will be taken into account while calculating their value. Analjit Singh will retain control of Delhi Guest Houses. Parvinder Singh's family accepted the Bhai Mohan Singh will and will pay a settlement amount to Analjit. Sources said Bhai Manjit Singh's lawyer, however, raised objections to the will in the court hearing. Manjit Singh will continue his protest against Analjit.
